To increase awareness about the educational rights of children and youth experiencing homelessness, NYS-TEACHS provides free trainings, posters and brochures to school personnel, social service providers and parents. Trainings

NYS-TEACHS provides free trainings across New York State for school districts and social service agencies about the educational rights of children and youth experiencing homelessness. Networking Meetings

In 2006, NYS-TEACHS started a new initiative to help regions develop, build, and sustain their capacity to network together to meet the needs of students experiencing homelessness. Find more information about Regional Facilitated Networking Meetings and learn how to get involved.

Publications

Order brochures and posters! NYS-TEACHS provides brochures and posters with information on the educational rights of children and youth who are homeless. Brochures and posters are available in both English and Spanish.
