Charter Schools

Charter schools, like school districts, must appoint a McKinney-Vento liaison to identify students in temporary housing, help them enroll in school, and arrange for transportation and other needed services. Charter schools should also distribute a Housing Questionnaire to all enrolling students and students who change addresses to ask them about their housing status. All LEAs that receive Title I, Part A funds, including charter schools, are required to do so.
